Godspeed my old friend. We met in 1971 - we ran and jumped against each other endlessly at school. We spent so many hours together in our teens during weekends and school holidays - Cycling - Snooker - Darts - Badminton, we went to/from school together most days. We went to see West Ham together from 74/75, and I will always remember the times you ‘blamed’ me for being a West Ham fan…almost like it was a disease (it was and still is !!) Later in life when reunited after 25 years, we again shared some great times together, and none more so than our final match watching together in June when we came to Portsmouth to watch the Conference Final together. Fitting that our last time watching the Hammers together was so glorious. RIP my old mate.
Phil was good to me while I worked for HC3S . Always good advice and on hand with recipes. Rest in peace
